California Table
Grape Commission
The California Table Grape Commission is the promotional arm
of the state’s table grape industry and its approximately
600 farmers. The commission was formed in 1968 and promotes grapes
nationwide and in more than 27 countries worldwide.
In addition
to promotion, the commission also funds research on the health
benefits of fresh grapes and, on behalf of the industry, awards
scholarships and coordinates community service activities within
the state’s table grape growing region.
