Classroom Activities
We are pleased to introduce you to a new and exciting program that we know your students will enjoy. Following, are six activities to incorporate the Go for the Gold program, developed especially for California students by the "California Grown" statewide education campaign along with the California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom. The purpose of these activities is to teach your students about California agriculture, the health and economic benefits of buying and eating locally grown products, and to instill pride in their agriculturally rich state.
